We’re looking for a talented, ambitions Product Manager to join our team at BenevolentAI. We are a fast-moving, user-centric company, working at the cutting edge of AI and scientific discovery.
As a Product Manager at BenevolentAI, you will play a hands-on role in driving forward our in-house Ai-driven products and processes, working with engineers and scientists to understand data and feature requirements and providing extensive feature refinement/troubleshooting. Our tools are mainly cloud-based, making use of the very latest visualization and machine learning tools and techniques. You will need to develop a solid understanding of the technical aspects of our tools and scientific domain quickly, so you’ll want to learn and develop new skills in this position.
You will play a key role in the planning and refinement of sprints, managing cross-team dependencies within an Agile development environment. You will be responsible for managing product backlogs for several SCRUM teams.
You will be comfortable and familiar with handling high-dimensional biological data, especially multi-modal ‘omics data (although experience with image data would also be helpful). You will work closely with systems biologists and bioinformaticians to analyse and interpret the data to derive biological insights and testable hypotheses.
You will answer to the VP of Product and have the opportunity to develop your skills delivering our bleeding-edge AI-driven applications alongside world-class engineers and scientists. This is a great opportunity to get involved at a startup with strong financial backing and global ambitions.
Our office, a converted leather factory between Euston and St Pancras, is relaxed and unique, with a friendly atmosphere and a diverse team of clever people from around the world. The company offers a growing benefits package that includes pension, health insurance, a cycle-to-work scheme, and the usual start-up goodies – foosball, breakfast, a fridge full of cokes and beer on Fridays.
Our mission is to increase the efficiency and success of the scientific discovery process. Society has created huge quantities of complex information and data but the ability to use this to create knowledge for drug discovery and development is still at its infancy. We are creating tools and technologies, combining AI with pharmaceutical expertise, to accelerate the process by which new medicines are discovered and developed. We’re a highly motivated team who care deeply about achieving these goals.
We are looking for a hands-on self-starter that is looking to grow into a leadership role. This could be an enthusiastic individual with the right combination of experience looking for a new challenge.
If this challenge and opportunity excites you, please send your CV and a covering letter here
