BenevolentAI Awarded Technology Pioneer Status by World Economic Forum

BenevolentAI

Every year, the World Economic Forum welcomes leading early-stage technology companies from around the world into its Technology Pioneer’s community. In its own words, these companies are “poised to have a significant impact on business and society”. Today we are delighted and humbled to be named as one such Technology Pioneer.

The Forum is the de facto International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation. It engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas. Over the next two years, we at BenevolentAI will help shape and contribute towards the Forum’s initiatives, helping to positively transform society and industry.

Our first activity as a Pioneer will be for our founder and Chairman Ken Mulvany to participate in the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting of the New Champions, held in Tianjin, China, September 18-20.

We’re hugely excited to see how we can help drive its programmes and the difference we can make. Our mission is to shift traditional mindsets by rethinking and accelerating the entire drug discovery and development process in order to drive inventive ideas in medicine and faster new treatments.

This is a huge honour and we’re looking forward to seeing how we work with the WEF and our fellow Pioneers in this next chapter to deliver this mission!  We are more ambitious than ever before in how we can directly impact people’s lives for the better.
