The Data Scientist will be a core member of our high impact team based in New York. You will work alongside AI researchers, ML engineers, bioinformaticians, systems biologists and drug discoverers to find new therapies for devastating diseases.

Job Overview & Key responsibilities:
Working in cross functional teams with rapid feedback loops, as a Data Scientist you will spend your time coming up with novel ways to leverage our data and AI infrastructure to help drug scientists discover novel drug targets or better compounds to modulate our high-priority diseases. You will be at the tip of the spear, where new ideas are created and impact is made in the form of concrete therapeutic hypotheses to be tested in our preclinical and clinical pipeline.
You will be joining a fast-growing team in New York, and we will rely on you to write our story. When you see something broken, you help fix it. You build rapid prototypes to substantiate your reasoning and exemplify your ideas. You must be a strong communicator who can explain what is required to build and deliver great technology. You will be keen to work with the rest of the team and develop collaboratively.
You will directly contribute to discovering therapies for some of the thousands of diseases that have no treatments today. We are excited for you to come meet the challenge!
Requirements & Qualifications:
You are bringing expertise and excellence in Data Science. Python is your language of choice but you dabble in Java, SQL and find whatever way you need to get the data in whatever form you need to do your magic. You have some experience with biological data and are excited about coming to grips with parts of it you may not know yet - genomic, sequencing, clinical trials, chemical structures, imagery, disease ontologies, knowledge graph, embeddings, etc. You have deep intuition for the way data moves, and know how to tell signal from noise.
You will be working with large volumes of structured and unstructured data, meshed together into a graph, queryable with graphQL, hopefully you will have experience of pandas, spark, kibana, and elasticsearch to slice through our data, and be proficient in visualization (Pandas, Seaborn, Plotly).
